The Best Team Names, Logos Nobody Is Using Yet

During a time in sports when we’re having to worry about political correctness and sensitive names and subjects, we hear of complaints about the names of teams like the Washington Redskins, Cleveland Indians and the Florida State Seminoles.

At least they’re not the damn Tigers of either Detroit, Missouri, LSU, Auburn or the million high schools across the country that couldn’t come up with something more creative.

It’s understandable how some might take offense to some team names or can’t think of anything creative; but the folks at Awesome Sports Logos just don’t give a rats’ and have decided to go against the grain and come up with their own clever, occasionally risque team names and logos.

If the Cocksville Blockers or the Albuquerque Chupacabras were coming to town, I’d cut a check for tickets to their game without even questioning what sport it is they play. Why? Because they’re not the dang Tigers, and they sound badass. Check the entire list of awesome sports logos.
